So this is it! Yesterday our plane left from Schiphol, Amsterdam and 15 hours later we're trying to find our way from the Capetown airport to our hotel. While arranging transportation to our hotel we
meet up with another Dutch couple. They happen to stay in the same hotel so we decide to go there together. As we listen to the rhythm of the raindrops on the window of the minibus, Capetown flashes
by and we notice the Table Mountain, covered by clouds. After we checked in and had a fine shower we start walking around in the area, a little bit disappointed by the weather (for the rest of the
trip we had nothing but great weather). Our hotel is situated in an area called 'Seapoint' on the ocean side. It is situated in Seapoint, a rather well to do part of Capetown, very close to the
Atlantic Ocean. That night we had dinner with the Dutch couple at the hotel and walked along the beach for a while, although they don’t recommend you to go out at night in this neighborhood. We
were exhausted by the long trip so went in early.
